Marshall Shank, B.A.
Intake Counselor/Intern
What do I do at Counseling & Psychological Services?
I’m one of the intake counselors here at CAPS. I graduated in 2015 with a Religion: Biblical Studies degree from Liberty University. I’m currently working on my Clinical Mental Health Counseling masters degree. Prior to working for CAPS I was the Director of Outreach at a sexual integrity non-profit.
What is it like to work with me?
My hope is that the process would be fun with some dry humor involved. My hope is to connect you to the resources you need to find fulfillment and healing. I’m both humbled and honored at the opportunity to work alongside you in your journey.
What do I do outside of Counseling & Psychological Services?
Outside of the office I like to make sourdough bread, work in my woodshed, fly fish, and play disc golf. All of these hobbies are better enjoyed with my wife Jill and sons Wilder and Walker.
*Mrs. Emily Ellis is the primary supervisor for this practicum/internship student.
