Let's Talk

Let’s Talk is a drop-in service that provides students with easy access to an informal consultation with a CAPS counselor without having to pre-schedule an appointment. Our counselors will listen to your concerns, provide perspective, and, if needed, offer suggestions for therapeutic resources that support your wellness goals. There is no appointment or fee necessary.
Let’s Talk conversations are…
- FREE for Liberty students
- Offered on a first-come, first-served (no appointment necessary)
- Typically about 20-25 minutes in length
- Informal, and not a substitute for counseling
Locations & Walk-In Hours
Let’s Talk is available at two different locations on campus:
Third floor of Demoss Hall
Our Let’s Talk office, located on the third floor of Demoss Hall in Room # 3122A is marked with a Let’s Talk sign.
Walk-in hours are daily from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Green Hall
Our Let’s Talk office in Green Hall is located between Room # 1574 / Mechanical and our double door entrance to our main CAPS office at 1830 Green Hall. It is a single door entrance separated from our main CAPS office entrance and marked with a Let’s Talk sign.
Walk-in hours are daily from 12:30 to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Things to Know for Let's Talk
Informal consults are offered at no cost on a first-come-first-served basis. Voluntary access of Let’s Talk consults with CAPS staff is strictly confidential and will not involve an official clinical record of your attendance or its content.
