Group Counseling

Counseling & Psychological Services offers several group counseling options to meet various needs. Our office provides open groups where new members can join each week as well as closed groups where no new members can join after the group has been established. Group counseling has a variety of benefits in that one may experience a sense of belonging, establish a community, experience encouragement in learning that others may be dealing with similar struggles, and celebrate the successes of growing together.
Counseling Groups - Fall 2026
Exploring self through TTRPGs.
Dice & Discovery is a therapeutic role-playing group that uses tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) to foster personal growth, build social connections, and develop coping skills in a supportive environment. This group is designed for students experiencing general anxiety, social anxiety, and/or depression.
While some familiarity with TTRPGs may be helpful, no prior experience is required. The group is designed to be welcoming to beginners, with a "learn-as-you-go" approach that allows participants to comfortably explore the game together regardless of experience level.
For those who identify as neuro-divergent, please contact our office to learn more!
Pre-screening is required for this group. Email CAPS@liberty.edu for more information.
