Practicum/Internship Student
What do I do at CAPS?
Hi, my name is Taylor, and I am currently a graduate student here at Liberty in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. As a counseling intern at CAPS, I will be working under supervision to conduct intake sessions with students and provide support to those on the primary counseling path.
What is it like to work with me?
I aim to create a safe and collaborative space where healing and growth can take place. I approach each session with empathy and care, making sure you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I’m genuinely excited to be part of the team at CAPS and to walk alongside students as they explore their goals and navigate their counseling journey.
What do I do outside of CAPS?
When I’m not at CAPS or caught up in studying and homework, you’ll usually find me sipping coffee with a good book or driving the Zamboni at the hockey rink (yes, I really do get to do that!). I love going on walks and hanging out at home with my cats, Stella and Bean, who keep life interesting. Baking sweet treats is one of my favorite pastimes, and I also love finding new TV shows to binge with friends. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my husband—whether we’re traveling to new places, dancing at concerts, or soaking up the sun at the beach.
