Summer Lorincz

Practicum/Internship Student

What do I do at CAPS?

Hi! My name is Summer Lorincz, and I am a counseling intern here at CAPS. I hold a bachelor's in psychology from Liberty University, and I am currently in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program. I have a passion for working with and supporting college students with anxiety, depression, religion/spirituality concerns, stress, life transitions, relationship problems, and other areas of concern.

What is it like to work with me?

I strive to create an environment where students feel heard, valued, and supported as they move toward healing. I am passionate about helping students better understand their identity, recognize their strengths, and build confidence. I believe each person’s story is unique and consider it a privilege to walk alongside students throughout the counseling process.

What do I do outside of CAPS?

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside and staying active by playing pickleball and volleyball. My favorite fall activity is roasting and making s’mores over a campfire.
