What do I do at CAPS?

Hi, I’m Dominique, an intern at CAPS. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida International University and am currently pursuing my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. In my role at CAPS, I conduct intake interviews with students and work with individuals, couples, and groups.

What is it like to work with me?

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. I’m passionate about supporting clients as they gain self-awareness, navigate challenges, and work toward achieving their personal and relational goals. I strive to walk alongside them through life’s various seasons, offering guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

What do I do outside of CAPS?

Outside of CAPS and my studies, I enjoy spending time in nature, staying active, traveling, trying new foods, and connecting with family and friends.
