What do I do at CAPS?

Hi! My name is Christine Jibilian, and I am a counseling intern here at CAPS. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Millersville University, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling here at Liberty. As a counseling intern, I work collaboratively with students to create a safe, supportive space where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and goals while working toward meaningful change. My approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and helping students develop tools for resilience, self-awareness, and personal growth. I work with a wide range of presenting concerns, but I am especially passionate about supporting students in the areas of anxiety, depression, body image, identity, relational challenges, and trauma.

What is it like to work with me?

In my work at CAPS, I prioritize genuine connection, empathy, and curiosity. I approach each student with respect and openness, taking their individual experiences and needs into account. My goal is to support students as they navigate challenges and explore opportunities for growth and healing.

What do I do outside of CAPS?

Outside of CAPS and my work as a student, I love spending time outdoors—whether I’m hiking, traveling, or catching a good sunset. When I’m not at the gym, I can often be found with friends, either watching a movie or grabbing our favorite food. At the end of the day, my favorite thing to do is curl up with a book or my current favorite sitcom.
