What do I do at CAPS? 

I have my Bachelor’s Degree in psychology with a focus in counseling from Liberty University. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, and am expected to graduate in May of 2024. My goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and practice in the state of Virginia. I am currently an intern in counseling at CAPS, where I have the honor of coming alongside students on their counseling journey. 

What is it like to work with me?

My goal is to provide a safe and warm environment where anyone who comes to see me feels accepted, valued, and seen. I cherish the privilege of being able to hold people’s stories and come alongside them as they work towards becoming a healthier and more balanced version of themselves. I’m a huge proponent of self-care, soul-care, and mindfulness. I believe one must take care of themselves before they can take care of others, so my goal is to help people learn how to love, accept, and care for themselves better.  

What do I do outside of CAPS?

Outside of CAPS, I am a full-time graduate student, a part-time prevention specialist, and a full-time cat mom. I love reading, journaling, going on road trips, and spending too much time at coffee shops.
