Lacie Duling

Lacie Duling, B.S.

Practicum/Internship Student

What do I do at CAPS?

My name is Lacie, I am a current graduate student here at Liberty in the clinical mental health counseling program. As a practicum intern at CAPS, I will be doing intake sessions with students and working with clients that are on the primary path for counseling. I am looking forward to being a part of the CAPS team and getting to walk alongside students in their counseling journey.

What is it like to work with me?

My desire is to create an atmosphere that makes you feel seen, heard, and safe when you enter into the counseling room. I hope that when you enter into a session that you know you are in a space that allows you to feel and express yourself in a way that allows you to be your authentic self.

What do I do outside of CAPS?

Outside of CAPS, I am likely working on course work for my graduate program or working at a coffee shop. During my free time you will find me with my nose in a book, brushing up on my crocheting skills, hanging out with friends, or cozied up at home with my dog named Moo and my fat cat, Ollie. I also love finding time to go on a hike or a mini adventure that likely ends in sharing good food and lots of laughing with friends.

*Dr. James Honeycutt is the primary supervisor for this practicum/internship student.
